MISSISSIPPI UNIVERSITY – SALT STUDY

This study is now complete, yielding encouraging results.  Dr Barry Stewart requests that we do not post the final report until it is published in a scientific journal but has provided the following quote:  

"Preliminary data indicate that sand amended with LSA holds 25% more water at field capacity than unamended sand.   The incorporation of LSA into sand based rootzones and irrigated with 1000 ppm salts (as NaCl) produced no negative results."
